ALEX WILLIAMSON

Alex is a curator and collector of found and self-generated graphic and photographic ephemera. He combines these materials using cut-out, collage and print techniques to create bold and disruptive imagery. 

Originally a printmaker, Alex now explores both digital and analogue processes to build on this heritage, generating powerful narrative and visual ideas that play with the intersections and boundaries of colour, graphic form, mark making and the photographic image.

Alex’s work looks to expand traditional print-making into moving image, exploring multi-layered, narrative-based experiences for audiences.
